September is undoubtedly my season for reasons you already know. I got all jazzed up to enjoy a birthday dinner with my family this past weekend and went right back into hibernation mode. I’ve never taken much of a hiatus from anything, so I decided to do one this month since it’s my new year. Here are a few reasons why:
1.BE RADICAL: In order go somewhere you’ve never been, you have to do something you’ve never done. I am deeply committed to my future, one that not only benefits myself, but also my family. I feel a strong sense of responsibility to accomplish my goals not just for myself for for them also, and thus I must be radical about my change. I have quivering as I type this for fear of the unknown BUT I am doing it anyway.
2.FOCUS: I need to focus on my focus so that I am mentally prepared for my overflow(I claimed it, so I know it’s mine). Of course there will be some hiccups, for without failure there is no growth. So much goes into building a brand, so I’ve been doing a lot of brainstorming/setting systems in place.
3. SACRIFICE: I think the biggest challenge in this is sacrificing my social life. Though I’m a homebody at heart, I do love to mingle. Not being present for everything is also a wonderful sense of freedom. The way I look at it is simple, I can sacrifice now and have exponential freedom verses non at all. The rat race is over for me.
In the end, I know God will reward me for my commitment and sacrifice. I’ve been filling my mind and spirit with rich information; building myself spiritually as well.
Despite the attacks on the poor man, Joel Osteen has helped me tremendously. I always knew about his podcast, but have only recently had the chance (because I gave up my time) to listen and was blown away by how much he spoke to my heart. It’s never a coincidence to me when God aligns something so perfectly for me. He’s always on time!

With that said, stay tuned for all that’s new. I ask that you send positive vibes and prayers my way as I evolve. As seamless as we all want it to be, change does not come easy. Grateful to have you on this journey with me!
